Tricone roller bits for dilling of mediumsoft formations are distinguished by most high performance cutting structure of chisel tungsten carbide inserts with relatively big offset from cone shell, which allows to get high drilling rate in soft and medium-soft rock formations, such as aleurolite, soft limestone, dense clay, medium-hard shale etc.

Tricone Bits of this series have protection of shirttail with tungsten carbide inserts, which increases wear resistance while drilling highly abrasive rocks.

Application
The tricone drill bit are always be used in drilling soft-medium formation,using fields like mining,hydrology well drilling,subterranean heat well drilling,water well drilling,oil well drilling,gas well drilling.This type of tricone bits have optimal bearing design,it can be working stably in low WOB,and high quality tungsten carbide on suiface of cones and gauge make a good wear resisance,largely extend the working life of bit.

Tricone bits are O-type rubber sealed journal bearing bits, matched with different cutting structures, which can adapt to extremely soft to extremely hard bottom layers.
The surface of the tooth palm bearing is overlaid with a wear-resistant alloy layer, and the tooth wheel bearing is silver plated, improving its load-bearing capacity and anti-bite ability.
The use of a new type of lubricating grease that can withstand high temperatures of 250 degrees and is resistant to wear has improved the high-temperature resistance of the sealing lubrication system.
The inset bit adopts high-strength and high toughness hard alloy teeth, which improves the impact resistance of the teeth and reduces the rate of tooth breakage.
Welding wear-resistant materials on the tooth surface of steel toothed drill bits to further improve the wear resistance of drill bits.

Notes for the use of roller cone bits:
1 .Before the drill bit is down, it is necessary to confirm that the bottom of the well is clean, free of grit, and no metal falling.
2. Check if the thread connection screw of the roller cone bit is intact and the nozzle is installed properly.
3. Run in hole needs to be stable, avoid stress and prevent drilling.
4. The last joint needs a large displacement to start the rotary table and keep reaming to bottom of the well., fully wash the well to prevent the debris from clogging the nozzle.
5. The shape of the bottom hole should be lightly pressed and slowly turned into contact with the bottom of the well, smalldrilling pressure, low speed, large displacement, small torque, and the speed is 40~60 rev / min, at least 30 minutes.
6. Determine the weight on bit and speed in combination with the actual conditions of the formation.
7. During drilling ahead, the operation should be smooth, drill feeding should be uniform, it is strictly forbidden to lift and release the drill sharply,drill string not well braked and drill string free fall.
8. If it is found that the drill bit stops making progress, the pump pressure increases and decreases obviously, the rate of penetration is suddenly decreased, and the torque is increased, lift the drill to check without delay.
